elegant bullet casing necklace with goldstone
Elegant necklace made of recycled 357 magnum bullet casing, which I hand-etched with an intricate mandala design, then decorated with brass filigree and Swarovski gemstones. A faceted goldstone point fills the casing. Full pendant measures approximately 2.5 inches in length and is very lightweight. Finished with a 27-inch long brass chain.
Often mistaken as a mineral, goldstone is actually a glittering manmade glass. In gem folklore, it was first produced accidentally. The legend has many variations. Some say a monk, or factory worker, randomly knocked copper shavings into molten glass, others say alchemists discovered it during their attempts to produce gold, and still others believe monks practicing alchemy created the secret recipe.
Goldstone is said to be a master healer, stabilizing emotions and aiding in staying calm. Used as an energy generator and a good deflector of unwanted energies, therefore is a protection stone. It helps one set goals that are often lofty and work to attain them. Goldstone also has many of the metaphysical properties of copper, including strengthening the circulatory system, strengthening bones and easing arthritic pain, which is felt to be extremely helpful in increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.
